Prompt response, direct and informative. Thoughtful follow up point to say where beneficiary source was from (life insurance, pension, bank account, etc.). Or whether one was designated before person died.

Satisfied Client
I couldn't be happier! I was recommended by a friend to see Fred Amos to help me resolve some issues that weren't being addressed by my previous lawyer and bring my case to a close. I brought to him a mess and, after quickly discerning the facts of the case, he has moved my case monumentally forward...

Mr. Amos did a great job representing my case. He was responsive and thorough on my case. I am very satisfied with his service. Highly recommend him for custody/visitation cases.
Thank you so much! Your kind words are most appreciated.

Divorce
I used Fred's services to get a simple divorce. The process turned out to be a tad complicated as my now ex husband made himself untraceable. Fred and a process server handled this and were able to successfully serve and close this chapter on my behalf. I would recommend Fred and his firm for two r...
Thank you so much. I am so happy we were finally able to complete your divorce for you. You were a pleasure to work with. Thanks again.

Poor Service & Overcharges
Both he and his wife work together, our company had 1x transaction with his wife that went fine. However, he represented our firm in small claims court. He was unresponsive to phone/email, unprepared for meetings-we had to consistently reproduce already provided documents and a slew of other annoying...
What Steve fails to state is that I won his case and got him a significant money judgment against the other party. He also fails to state that I only billed him at my standard hourly rate as listed on my website. However, he was upset that I did not give him the same discount that my wife gave him for previous work which involved only the drafting of a document. I do not offer a discount for litigation. We all know what they say about assumptions. Finally, Steve implies that it was he that got the NC Bar involved, which is not true. It was I that informed him of the NC Bar's fee dispute resolution program. Finally, while he is free to change his mind in retrospect, Steve told the NC Bar fee dispute mediator that he had no issue with the service I provided but simply expected his bill to be lower.
"I thought I had done this sometime ago, but apparently not, and its long overdue. Mr. Amos, clearly knows the law and how to apply it to assist his clients. Even better, he genuinely cares about providing accurate solutions for those in need."

He offers a great balance of compassion and practical guidance to his clients that engenders their trust."
"I endorse Fred. He cares about his clients, works hard, is highly skilled and respected by fellow attorneys."
"I know Mr. Amos to be an extremely hardworking, dedicated, careful, and ethical attorney with experience in criminal law (including DWI) and very extensive experience with real estate law. He is well-liked and respected by his peers."
"Mr. Amos and I practice in some of the same areas of law. I have had the privilege of reviewing many of her responses and comments to questions posted on Avvo. His answers and comments reflect a deep understanding of the law and have provided helpful information. I endorse this lawyer."
"I have the pleasure of both working with Tuey (Fred) and being married to him. While I am impressed by many of his attributes, it is his commitment to his clients and his ability to achieve the best possible results for his clients that I get to see every day. He is hard-working, knowledgeable, and easy for clients to talk to and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him to anyone in need of a DWI attorney."
"Fred is an outstanding DUI/DWI lawyer in the Raleigh community. Impeccable credentials and exceptional results."
