Incredible Attorney - complex, high-conflict case

Assertive Accessible Advocate

John Miskey is an outstanding attorney. He came highly recommended and I could not agree more. After hearing about his legal knowledge and capability , I researched his bio and was impressed to see his community advocacy work as well, particularly with the Compass Center for Women and Families. That told me a lot about his character. He was extremely helpful throughout a challenging and emotionally turbulent process, keeping me educated and informed every step of the way-- always providing guidance and support. He was reliable and readily available for my questions at any time of day. We were able to settle out of court because of his firm and effective negotiation skills, but I had no doubt that, if court had become necessary, he would have been a fierce advocate. Legal Help

John and his team had my back when I needed them with a difficult situation at home. Thanks to his help I was able to navigate the legal system to right some wrongs. Helpful and Responsive

John helped me through my divorce and child custody case a few years ago. As court ordered deadlines approached, there were several terms that my ex-wife wasn't complying with which needed to be addressed. Mr. Miskey assisted me through negotiations and modifications in order to get the matter resolved without going back to court or prolonging the process. He was very responsive even though he was in the midst of another trial. Thank you for your assistance once again!

Current client w/ much needed peace of mind

In the midst of a complicated and urgent situation, John and Laura Kastner were not only available, they put me and my feelings first. Other firms i contacted were set on a 3 hour session @ $250/hr while John set a rate and then went almost an hour over our session. I walked away feeling relieved and taken care of for the first time in a LONG time. He and Laura both let me know they could be my bulldogs or my angels, it's up to me. I sleep better at night knowing i have an advocate on my side whenever i need it. Also, I must mention, I submitted an urgent need and John was the first to respond. In my first session he said "its all about fit." And, well, its the perfect fit.

In the unfortunate situation that you need a divorce /custody attorney in my opinion you won't find a better one than John . wonderful professional and team

I was going through a very difficult divorce when I came across John's reviews on google. I decided to contact him just for an opinion and eventually hired his services. This decision was the best I could have taken in such a difficult process!! John not only is a fantastic attorney with great expertise, experience and advice but he is a wonderful human being. Working with him and his team gave me peace of mind, I knew my kids and I were in good hands. No divorce is easy, mine was particularly complicated but it was made much easier by the Miskey team. Difficult divorce

John did an outstanding job helping put in place a fair settlement in a very difficult divorce. The case needed to be handled in both North Carolina and Michigan with a different legal team in each state. John legal expertize regarding how to handle the case in North Carolina was extremely helpful in establishing a clean direction in the handling of issues that could only be addressed in Michigan. John was fair, level headed and willing to explain to us in layman terms what we were facing on each issue. Would recommend both John as a person you can count on and his expertize on the law to anyone.
