Kristin Kelly Broyles is a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Family Law and a Certified Parenting Coordinator. She is the recipient of the 2020 40 under 40 award from the Triad Business Journal and the 2018 40 under 40 Alumni Award from North Carolina Central University. Kristin has been recognized as a Best Lawyers in America since 2019, a Rising Star by SuperLawyers since 2016 and has been recognized as a Legal Elite in Family Law from Business North Carolina. She was a member the Leadership Academy and Public Service Academy with the North Carolina Bar Association.
Kristin is an experienced litigator and a strong advocate for her clients in and out of the courtroom. Kristin was recently elected as President-Elect for the Executive Committee of the 21st Judicial District Bar/Forsyth County Bar Association. She has served on the Ethics and Grievance Committee for the 21st Judicial District Bar/Forsyth County Bar Association, was a Past-President for the Forsyth County Criminal Defense Trial Lawyers Association and Past-President of the Forsyth County Young Lawyers Division. She is also a member of the Forsyth County Women's Attorneys Association and a member of the North Carolina Bar Association. Kristin was the recipient of the Younger Lawyer Pro Bono Attorney of the Year award from the Young Lawyers Division of the North Carolina Bar Association in 2014. Kristin currently serves as Co-Chair for the Pro Bono Committee for the Family Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association.
Kristin was born in Wilmington, North Carolina and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in History. Kristin attended North Carolina Central University School of Law and graduated in 2008. She was admitted to practice law in North Carolina in August, 2008 and began her legal practice working as a Staff Attorney for Legal Aid of North Carolina, Inc. in the Winston-Salem Office. She practiced with the Family Law Unit while with Legal Aid. Kristin went into private practice in 2011 where she began practicing in the area of criminal defense and family law. Kristin has handled hundreds of trials for both family law and criminal defense matters.
Kristin also enjoys volunteering and serving her community. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Junior League of Winston-Salem, Dress for Success Winston-Salem and is currently a board member for the Childcare Resource Center in Winston-Salem. Kristin enjoys volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, Goler Community Garden, and H.O.P.E. of Winston-Salem. In her spare time, Kristin enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, going to the beach, playing golf, and playing with her dog, Everhett.

Paid for a simple offense that was dismissed, however billed an additional $1,500 and nothing whatsoever was done. There was never a follow up visit, nor an itemized statement.
