I was charged with a felony for a small amount of marijuana. At first, I went to one of the bigger law firms around the Triad and was told I had no shot and would be lucky to take a plea deal that would include a low tier felony conviction. This result was not acceptable to me given the small amount ...of marijuana (less than a gram).
