Jan Dils

This lawyer had my interests at heart from the beginning all the way to the win at the end! Keeping me informed as to what was needed or as to what was going on even when I thought nothing was happening. I would like to say thank you so much to Jan Dils and all her staff for all the time they put in and the great work they did on my case for VA benefits. They actually got them for me and I was amazed. I didn't have much hope, but after explaining my situation to Jan on the phone she said she felt i...t was a good possibility, that she could get my benefits. When I came out of service in 1978 I was told at the Huntington VA that I had been awarded a 40% disability rating and that I would receive no compensation for that small amount but that I would receive healthcare. But that if I wanted to persue it at a later date I could do so. I waited a long time because I worked at a good job. After the mines were closed and I became unable to work I asked the VA about it and they told me all records had been burned in a fire in St. Louis Missouri. Jan said she could find the records. I finally got what I felt I deserved and what was promised me in 1978. So at age 65 and 40 years later I was awarded a 70% disability rating. Thank God she was able to do what she did I actually am able to live a bit more comfortably now.

I was stressed and overwhelmed and unsure of the entire system. I had the records and the system is just set up to fail you. I wasn't even sure after I hired the Jan Dils team, they kept telling me not to worry, but I did. If you are honest, and do as they instruct sending in your information....they... do know what they are doing. I didn't understand that it was all being taken care of, but it was. I was and am extremely thankful!
