Mark Troy is the founder and Managing Member of Troy Law Firm, PLLC in Charleston, WV. He was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar in 1994. He has also been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts in the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia, as well as the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia. Mark obtained his law degree from West Virginia University and his Bachelor’s in Business Administration degree from Marshall University. He is a former U.S. Army Officer, Armor Branch.
Mark has actively participated, as local counsel for a tobacco manufacturer, in one of the largest medical monitoring cases pursued in the State, to date—a case which ended in a mistrial and, later, a defense verdict. He has also obtained, as counsel for a local manufacturer whose corporate assets were misappropriated, one of the largest plaintiff’s verdicts in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.
