Jace is superb. I hired him for a contentious divorce involving abuse, and made it clear to him I wanted things as civil and calm as possible. It would have been in his financial interest to create a war in order to boost his fees, and he did not do so. He remained calm in the face of chaos and gave... consistently beneficial advice. He is very emotionally intelligent, moral, a very creative problem solver, and places the needs of his clients above his own. After my divorce was concluded very satisfactorily, I then used Jace's services to create a new will, power of attorney, and advanced directive and was extremely pleased with both his legal counsel and the quality of the documents themselves. I paid him 160.00 for a consultation to handle a divorce. After I explained to him what I wanted to do he accepted and I paid him another 10,000. Jace purposely through my case to protect another attorney. After the hearing I fired him. Jace will initiate a bunch of frivolous phone calls and emails j...ust to bill you. After he was fired he continued to bill me. I’m disabled and have no income and yet he felt the need to extort me. This man is horrible. He figured if I could find a way to pay his initial fees I could find a way to continue to pay him after the fact. Stay away from the horrible man.

I hired Jace Padden in the spring of '21, to represent me in my custody battle with my ex-husband.
