One of a kind

You meet in your life a very little number of key individuals who deeply impact you life. For me, Art is of them. I first came to America as an exchange student from France, it's where i got the opportunity to meet Art and determine what was the best immigration strategies to live and work in the Uni...ted-States. After my undergraduate graduation in France, he provided strong support and helped convinced my first American employer that immigration was not a big deal if they wanted me onboard! Guess what! I got hired thanks to Art's help of course! After working two years and a half with that employer, i am now a full-time MBA student at Georgetown University. Clearly, Art has a big influence on my life and people's lives in general. Also, do not hesitate to ask why does he get out of bed in the morning! By answering "Why", you will understand his passion and his talent for immigration. I have known him for 5 years almost now and will keep contact with him for many years to come i am sure!

Best Immigration Lawyer(s) you can find!

Art and his office have been EXTREMELY important for me in my path through the immigration system in the US over the last 3 years. I went from being on F-1 student visa 2012, through OPT, to finally getting an H-1B this year. Art has always been very passionate and knowledgeable about anything I a...sked (and I asked a lot!). I always got a response within a few hours (if not minutes) from either Art, or his colleague Mara (and Jeni later on). No matter how many questions I had, and no matter how silly they were, they always answered them all patiently and in a great detail. I had several phone calls with Art too, whether it was with me alone, or a conference call with my potential employers. I always felt very special from how Art described my case and myself to the employer and I have always felt very well represented and had a complete trust to leave my case in Art's hands. To my great surprise, Art has never asked for any money for his consultations. Not a cent! All the emails and phone calls we've had were always free. Who gives you something for free these days?? Art is also continuously preparing "Immigration Art" videos, where he describes the differences in various visa types and gives advise to anyone who watches the video. It's a great way to get yourself familiar if you are new to the US immigration system. He is posting new videos regularly so even if there is any change in the immigration system or anything tricky others wouldnt want you to know, you can be sure that there's going to be a new "Immigration Art" video very soon covering all the hot topics and everything you should know. It emphasizes the philanthropy in Art's work and the "mission" he seems to be on - to help and inform as many people as possible, even if it is for free. That shows you that even his heart is really in the right place. There is not one bad word I can say about Art and his office as they have always been a great pleasure to talk to and work with and I am definitely using their services in the future, whenever I'll need them again! Thank you!

Best immigration lawyer out there!

I met Art at a presentation he gave at my school and later asked for his advice several times. He always replied promptly and went the extra mile to make sure I had all the information I needed. Most recently Art helped me with my OPT because I wasn't sure how to re-enter the country to resume employ...ment. He took the time to Skype me, write me a letter, and again give me additional information on how to get sponsored after my visa expires! Art is an honest, dedicated and reliable lawyer who loves helping others (and does it wonderfully.) He will go out of his way to provide you with the best service out there, no matter what side of the world you are on!

hire this man!

I've been in the international education field for 22 years, and Art Serratelli is the immigration lawyer I trust the most. He knows his stuff, and very importantly knows the lines between what he can and can't do with regards to international students. He knows when to say "I don't know the answer t...o this question". I've heard plenty of stories about other lawyers who took on cases and gave advice in areas they knew nothing about, to bad results. Many of my students have worked with Art over the years and I have not heard one bad word about any of their experiences. He loves working with students, helping them out, and it shows. I unhesitatingly recommend him to any of my students with a problem that I am not able to help them with.

Art is a phenomenal immigration attorney

From the first meeting, interacting with Art was a great experience. I entered the US on an F1 visa. Then with the help of Art, I applied to an EB-1 case to get my green card, which happened 2 weeks after the case approval. Art was extremely helpful and provided a detailed list of what to prepare f...or the EB-1 package. His comments on supporting materials were key. I definitely recommend Art and his team without reservation.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
