Ms. Katherine is amazing. I did a few consultations with different lawyers because my case was unique. Even from the first call, she made sure I was feeling as comfortable and anxious-free as possible given the circumstances. She listened to my situation and informed me of the possible outcomes. O...f course, she can’t guarantee a specific result, but she was great with managing my expectations. Mrs. Coltrain and her assistant were very professional, punctual, and easy to work with from my initial call until my court appearance for reckless driving. She gave me some things to do prior to the court date which the judge appeared to consider in my favor. In the end, the outcome was exactly wh...at I hoped for: reduced to a speeding ticket for 9 mph over. Certainly better than the misdemeanor I was facing for 28 mph over. At the end of the day, the easy answer is to follow the speed limit, but if you find yourself trying to navigate the legal system because you made a stupid mistake, I would highly recommend hiring Mrs. Coltrain to represent you.

Great to work with and an effective lawyer! I was charged with reckless driving for speeding 29 mph over in a school zone. She gave great advice on preparing for court, and was able to get the judge to knock down a potential class 1 misdemeanor to an improper driving traffic infraction. The highlight of this process is that I had what felt to be an unbeatable case. My driving record is horrible, this is my 3rd offense which was a complete accident. Regardless, Katherine and I decided the only request I had was no jail time, and she saw it through. We walked into court and she pleade...d my case for me with Power, Determination, and Respect that I believe the judge admired. As the last breathes were taken before I passed out from nervousness, the judge honored Katherine's request to punish me simply by a higher fine. I felt as though I was in a movie.
