Biography
Mr. Bush is an honor graduate of Regent University School of Law. In 2005, he graduated in the top of his law school class cum laude. Additionally, while attending law school he was the recipient of Academic Merit Scholarship, awarded for academic and scholastic performance. Mr. Bush attended Virginia Tech for his undergraduate studies where he graduated with honors with a B.A. in Political Science Pre-Law Concentration in 2001.
Currently, Mr. Bush’s practice is focused in the areas of family law, criminal law, and complex civil litigation. Mr. Bush has been recognized by several national publications for his work in these legal areas of practice. These awards include being listed as a Viriginia Super Lawyer by Super Lawyer's Magazine annually since 2009. Moreover, Mr. Bush enjoys a peer rating of "AV" "Preminent” by Martindale-Hubbell, that service's highest ranking, and the ranking of "Preminent" with client reviews. He is a past officer of the Suffolk Bar association, as well as the past Virginia State Bar representative for the 5th Judicial Circuit, Young Lawyers Section. In 2014 he accepted an adjunct professorship to teach at Regent University School of Law where he teaches in the area of law practice managment and business.

Replied last July 24, 2017This was an extremely contested divorce which lasted over three years. There where numerous complex issues that arose during our representation. I am happy to report that in the end my client was awarded sole legal and physical custody of his child. The wife was assessed attorney fees against her, and her lawyer was sanctioned.

Replied last January 15, 2016This case dealt with a complex and difficult civil issues between our client's business and several other out of state businesses. After many hours of negation and commitment to the case I was able to resolve all of our client's issues so that they could continue running their family's business which had been operating in Chesapeake for over 50 years. Without our representation I have no doubt that our client's business would have been closed or in bankruptcy.
