Steve and Anne Did an Outstanding Job!

I initially consulted Steve Ramsdell in 2014 regarding my financial situation and several significant liabilities, including taxes due to the IRS, that my wife and I were unable to pay due to several other competing substantial expenses, including secondary and college education costs for our childre...n. With Steve's periodic counsel over the years, we whittled down remaining liabilities from a complex bankruptcy filing for $1 million+ in liabilities expected to cost $15,000 and an extended timeline to process, to $500,000 remaining to be paid, with a majority of the liability being taxes due to the IRS, for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy that cost only $3,500 to process in less than four months. While not an easy or enjoyable process, Steve and his able assistant, Anne, did a great job directing us regarding the information they needed to file and process our bankruptcy, using our time very efficiently, and getting to the desired outcome of debt discharge as quickly as possible. Steve and Anne were always available to answer any questions that arose, and they gave good practical solutions to any issues we raised. We would highly recommend Steve Ramsdell to anyone considering filing for bankruptcy, or looking for practical advice dealing with creditors.

There are no words to express my gratitude for Mr. Ramsdell. He is a very compassionate and a very knowledgeable attorney. He answered questions timely and very clearly. I expected Chapter 7 would be extremely difficult, but with his coaching and assistance I experienced a painless process. I felt... horrible about filing bankruptcy, but he explained that the process was meant for people like me and I was exercising my rights. He was there at every step of the process from the consult to the discharge and even answered questions after the discharge. He took his time during every appointment that I had with him. He is very thorough and assisted at every step. His staff were excellent as well and great with processing all the documents. Due to Mr. Ramsdell's assistance, I felt that I got the best attorney and no words can describe my gratitude. I highly recommend Mr. Ramsdell. He is a great attorney and I wished that there were attorneys like him in other areas of the law because his professionalism, knowledge and compassion are very hard to come by these days. It's hard to express just how grateful we are for Mr. Ramsdell's services. We expected Chapter 7 would be extremely difficult, but with his mentoring and assistance we experienced a relatively painless process. We felt horrible about filing bankruptcy - he explained that the process was meant for p...eople like us and we were just exercising our rights under the law. He told us to take the high ground and to answer all questions and inquiries openly and honestly. From the initial consultation to the discharge, he was always there for us. He spent an incredible amount of time for the fee we paid. We had multiple consultations prior to filing and he represented us in court. He answered every question in a thorough and professional manner. From the beginning, he told us exactly what to expect and in almost every instance, things turned out the way he predicted. His staff was also excellent in processing our paperwork (two three-ring binders of documents). They followed-up on key issues and organized and condensed hundreds of documents into a concise presentation of our case. Because of his advice and assistance, we feel we got the best result possible. He also referred us to other professionals who could provide additional assistance (taxes, malpractice litigation, etc.). For all of the above reasons, we highly recommend Mr. Ramsdell. He is a consummate professional and we consider him a great attorney, advisor and friend.

Amazing Lawyer

I interviewed a bunch of lawyer for my complex chapter 7 and Steve was more knowledgeable than the other but the impressive part was when we went to court. The judge thanked Steve for everything ready and we were in and out, simple but some of the lawyers I interviewed were at court too but the judg...e was upset with the lawyer and they had to come back for missing information. I would recommend him to anyone doing bankruptcy way before any other lawyer. The process was smooth and he is very professional. I can't say enough how grateful I was.
