Keith Hallam has to be one of the most unprofessional lawyers out there. During the initial consultation he makes it seem like he is the most assessible and knowledgeable attorney out there and even offers reasonable payment plans. I was convinced I was getting one of most thorough attorneys in the a...rea. But the minute the ink dried on the contract I signed that's when the problems began. This man is impossible to reach and I do mean impossible. I would text him via phone and email him with no response from him or his staff for weeks. He would constantly cancel meetings with me due to constant illnesses and his own staff would never have him return my calls, even if I had court the next day. I even texted him one night asking about my case and he had no idea who I was. He doesnt even save his own client"s number!!!! He only communicated with me if he thought I was late on a payment and even sent me a nasty text saying I owed an amount to him that was completely inaccurate . In other words, if you need to speak to him he is unavailable but when he thinks you owe him money he hounds and harasses you. On top of that, he never came prepared for court. He had me bring in documents the day of court and quickly scanned over them minutes before a preliminary hearing . He encouraged me to take plea deals over going to court to fight for my innocence . Despite him having years of experience , he comes off very meek and timid around prosecutors which is why they don't give him great offers . I watched him sheepishly defend me to this brash prosecutor and couldn't help but stratch my head wondering why I had hired such a timid man. I would def not recommended this lawyer to my friends and family. He was able to reduce my charges but I still was forced to take a plea that required jail time despite having no prior convictions all because he wasn't "confident " going to court. I honestly could have gotten a court appointed lawyer , saved myself $3000 and still gotten the same outcome . Avoid if you want someone who will be attentive and fight for you. Hire if you are truly desperate or having financial problems.

My case was complex and I trusted this law firm to keep me updated before my court date. They did the opposite. Your phone messages will go unreturned and your emails ignored. The communication between attorney and client is non existent and they can't tell you which attorney in the firm will be ther...e with you in court. Please do not expect any special treatment or courtesy. The day of my trial my attorney wasn't even there on time and appeared to be rushed. Please do all your research before you pick this law firm just because they give you a payment plan .

Wanted to express how amazing my treatment was with Keith and his associates. Jumped on my case immediately. Got things resolved very affordably and in a timely manner with out the run around I have received with prior counsel. Followed up with me after my court date which I felt was wonderful. Keith... and his team are proffession, prompt, and worked quickly to resolve my case. I would highly recommend Keith for your next attorney. Everything from the person receiveing the calls to returning my calls was handle professionally. I would definitely choose Kieth again in the future
