The pandemic and retirement (my own and that of my estate attorney) prompted me to take a fresh look at my will and estate documents. My financial planner recommended Guy Bowe. Over the course of several Zoom and in-person meetings, Guy guided me through the process of updating all of my documents w...ith humor, patience, and a degree of thoroughness I had not encountered in previous experiences in working with estate attorneys. While I was working with Guy, my elderly mother expressed an interest in updating her will and trust to reflect her wish to help her grandchildren pay off their college loans. Using anecdotes and examples, as well as a bit of levity during at times emotionally difficult discussions, Guy demonstrated a flair for illustrating a variety of scenarios for distributing her estate, pointing out the pros and cons of each. My mother and I always felt listened to and respected and greatly appreciated Guy's expert advice and insights. Working with Guy was a very positive experience, and my mother and I thoroughly recommend him!

I came to Guy Bowe because I needed advice on a variety of issues. I had a huge issue with a family trust in which the trustee was not following the rules in the trust document, and I did not know how to proceed. Guy gave me great advice that was also sensitive to the fact that this is a family matte...r and the trustee was my father. He also gave me advice regarding an estate matter/spousal lifetime trusts and how to make changes from a tax planning perspective. Every interaction I've had with Guy has been professional and respectful, yet informative and personal. I have/will continue to refer him to friends/acquaintances that need trust/estate services. I wish he practiced in more areas of law so I could hire him for all my legal needs.

Guy was extremely helpful in helping us set up our individual trusts and estate planning. He was very knowledgeable about the subject matter and was able to answer all of our questions while customizing the documents to accommodate our needs. His walkthrough of each document proved especially helpf...ul as neither of us had much experience with the various sections and clauses. Needless to say, Guy did all of the handholding that we needed him to, and was very friendly while doing so. He was also very responsive, even surrounding his family leave. Highly recommend!
