5 stars***** I had the pleasure of working with Speedwell Law this past few months. My father had a massive stroke and I had to take over his affairs as his POA. This is very hard to go through and the state Medicaid offices are extremely difficult to work within Virginia, they basically want you ...to give up. I was initially apprehensive about working with them but needed to work with a law firm to help me with the ins and outs of Medicaid/LTC after attempting to work with them myself for a few months. My attorney was Guy Bowe, and I can't say enough good things about him. He was very hardworking, quick to get things done and when I say "get things done" I mean get them done quickly and do them the right way. Guy protected my rights as well as my Father's rights and made sure we were treated fairly. He also lobbied on our behalf several times. The whole process was extremely frustrating but knowing I had an advocate like Guy on my side was extremely comforting. He helped me get things done I could not get done on my own (including getting my father approved for Medicaid).
