Girum Tesfaye is an estate planning attorney and founder of Tesfaye O’Neill Law & Financial whose work is shaped by both professional training and personal experience. Early in his career Girum clerked for a probate judge, drafting opinions in a wide range of estate disputes, then served at the CFTC and SEC where he sharpened legal research and writing. After litigation work in Northern Virginia and founding a practice focused on family law and immigration, the difficulties his own family faced during a probate matter redirected him to estate planning. He now devotes his practice to creating practical, preventive plans that minimize probate, protect wealth and preserve family stability.
