Paulos Amare

Paulos Amare is a founding partner in the Maryland office of Tesfaye | Amare, PLLC. His practice includes transactional law, contract law, criminal law and general civil litigation.

Paulos attended the University Of Baltimore School Of Law where he distinguished himself from his peers as a Judicial intern researching novel areas of law, drafting legal memoranda assessing the merits of actions before the court, and assisted judges in court proceedings and pretrial conferences. As a Student Attorney, Paulos defended indigent clients against misdemeanor and felony charges in District Court.

Paulos has worked extensively with large multi-national and national firms assisting them efficiently navigate the complex twists and turns in discovery and litigation. He has played an integral role in assisting companies comply with State and Federal regulations as well as defending them from Federal investigations and alleged violations of antitrust law, trademark and international laws.

Paulos’ recent activities include representing inmates in disciplinary proceedings in the D.C. Jail and corrections facilities in Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties. He has also filed actions and appeals on behalf of inmates.

Paulos serves as legal advisor to several small business assisting them draft, review and negotiate contractual agreements. He also volunteers his time with several public service agencies lending his legal expertise serve the underserved.

Paulos grew up in Grundy, Virginia and Rockville, Maryland. He currently resides in Rockville, MD.
