Mr Girum Tesfaye was handling my cases against a person who chose to take me to the court with a wrong accusations , but his nimbleness and his experience and his patience and over eight months, and more then 3 cases different was able to denies her allegations and bring me a 2 years protection again...st that person.

I did make the right choice going with him. From the first meeting Girum had me feel welcomed and assured that I was going to be taking care of throughout the whole process. One year and 3 months is the time that Girum Tesfaye spent on my case. My initial retainer was 2500.00. He even asked me to call different parties involved (Clearly that what I paid him for, but I did it). In that time he has filed only ONE thing on my behalf. I would go months without hearing an...ything and would have call him. He would give me the same proposed course of action that he had given me months prior; however, the action would never be taken. Then he split from his firm to form his own. He tells me that he is going to work on my case on a contingent bases taking 33% of my reward because my 2500.00 retainer is in limbo and the firm is filing bankruptcy. I sign the new retainer and he again tell me what the course of action we are going to take. Months go by and I call Girum again. He tells me that we are just going to file the complaint and take them to court and to free up a week in February just in case I needed to testify. February came and went and still nothing. Months had passed yet again and I call Girum, only to be given the same rhetoric of past months. A couple more months go past and I am once again calling Girum. He doesn’t answer but this is not unusual. What is unusual is it took him a week to call me back this time. He tells me that the defendant is procrastinating on getting documents back. He says that because they have spent 1500.00 dollars that they can no longer lose money. He then Suggests that I MYSELF refile the Warrants and Debt and go to court alone (basically do his job for him once again). At this point I was fed up and asked why we hadn’t filed anything. If the other side is not producing documents as a stalling tactic then we should have been filed the claim with the court. I asked to see a copy of my file. I informed Girum that I wanted to personally perform an audit of the work done in my case. I also informed him that I would have an attorney from my firm (Yes I work at a a law firm) to review the documents as well. Girum’s Mood immediately changed to aggravated and he said OK and hung up the phone. I received a call the next day from Girum telling me that he can tell that I am unhappy with the way he handled my case and so he would get the copy of my file to me ALONG WITH a termination letter! He then tells me that he typically doesn’t handle my type of case anyway (Then please explain to me why you even took the case Girum!) Needless to say I will be filing a complaint with the BB as well as the bar and any other review site for him that I can find! STAY AWAY!!!!
