Shiven Shirish Patel

Shiven Patel is the managing partner at Patel Legal PLLC. He has extensive experience in matters of business law, labor and employment law, and litigation.

Prior to founding Patel Legal PLLC, Shiven worked at Tully Rinckey PLLC’s Washington, DC office, where he focuses his practice on representing federal and private sector employees, when faced with discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. He also represented employees in whistleblower, national security, and military law litigation matters.

Additionally, Shiven practiced as Of Counsel with Indigo Legal Solutions where he practiced business law in a variety of practice areas, including business formation, contracts, and litigation matters. He has also practiced law at several federal government agencies in the labor and employment law sectors.

Additionally, Shiven has worked in the aviation industry for two different fortune 500 corporations. He has also served as a lobbyist in Washington, D.C.

​Shiven earned his B.B.A. in Supply Chain Management from the University of Houston, his J.D. from South Texas College of Law, and his LL.M. in Law and Government from American University Washington College of Law. Additionally, he is a candidate for his M.B.A.
