Excellent Representation

Ms Porter and her staff provided exceptional representation to resolve my Reckless Driving case in Fairfax County. She was available to discuss my situation and offered effective advice and recommendations to positively resolve my situation. After gathering relevant documents, she handled the inter...actions with the court and gained a verdict very positive to my situation. The applaication of her knowledge and expertise directly resulted in a positive verdict for me.

Wonderful and professional

Karin was great from start to finish in my case. She took time to walk me through the process and answer all of my concerns. She explained what I needed to do to provide to best outcome for my case and on court day was wonderful in helping me understand the process from beginning to end.

Great representation

I live in PA and got charged with reckless driving for going too fast on I-95 in Fairfax County, VA. Ms Porter advised me on the best strategy to have the charge reduced to a non-criminal offense of speeding. I followed all of her advice and she handled the rest. I did not have to return to VA to ...appear at the hearing. The charge was indeed reduced to speeding. Couldn't have asked for a better attorney.

Possession charge

My daughter is from out of state and while visiting Virginia was charged with possession. I hired Karin to defend her and could not be happier with the results. From the first free consultation to the goodbye after the court date, Karin was very professional yet has a personal way about her that wa...s very comforting to us. She clearly knows the law and the process very well and had a few creative ideas on how to potentially get the charges dismissed. Ultimately my daughter did not want to fight the charges and yet Karin was able to get the charge reduced and settled for a very reasonable fine. The outcome was much better than we had expected.

DUI 2nd

I was charged with several offenses back in Feb 2016, namely DUI 2nd, Refusal to breathalyzer, and driving on revoked. I researched numerous Lawyers and was bombarded with mail from lawyers all over the area to obtain their services. It's a stressful process and after weeding out the awful representa...tion out in the are who just look at you like $$$ I decided on Karin and it was the best decision I made after my DUI arrest. I knew I would surely be facing jail time and also having a history with the law let me know i was definitely going to be incarcerated for awhile. After contacting Karin, she was a breath of fresh air and formulated a strategy/ game planned like i have never seen before. She cared to know how i felt and that i was aware of the many challenges we would face as well as the outcomes of whatsoever decision i wanted to make. Weeks and days leading up to my court date Karin kept me abreast of my case as well as constant contact and assured me she would do everything in her power to do her best. The day of my court case she gave it to me in black/white with no BS and advised me that we didn't have the best judge and the prosecuting attorney was one of the worst to face in the court system. She again had another game plan in place and was well prepared which totally put me at ease because the whole attending court can seem like a roller coaster of emotions, I could tell she had plans B, C and D as a backup should it not go our way. Long story short, once we had our turn on the docket my DUI was bought down to a DUI 1st and the other 2 charges were thrown OUT! I did not have to do any jail time and was able to get my license restricted once i completed my ASAP. Karin is simply the BEST in her profession and i highly recommend her to any one who is facing a DUI or alcohol related offense.
