I Knew She Was Gonna Be The Lawyer I Chose To Hire, After Our First Encounter. She Took The Time To Actually Get To Know The Type Of Person I Am And Not Judge Me Off My Cases. I Had Two Seperate Possesion Charges. She Gave Me Great Legal Advice On What To Do To Possibly Win My Cases. (Which She Managed To Get Them All Dismissed.) From the first consultation all the way through my case's closing, Ms. Leffler's legal advice was sound and wholly helpful; she was available, smart and straightforward. She strongly and earnestly recommended I do a number of community service hours preceding my court date so as to show the prosecutor I was serious about seeking clemency from the state which resulted in one of my charges getting dropped. And her high legal IQ resulted in an overall very favorable outcome for me that makes me fully confident in recommending her to those in need of an attorney.

I want to premise this review by saying that I almost never post reviews for professional services, let alone for attorneys. If you find yourself in a situation in Virginia, don't waste your $$ on attorneys that will gladly take your hard earned bucks knowing that they can't or are not willing to do much to help your cause. Hire Ms. Leffler to represent you; she knows the system inside and out due to her wealth of experience as a prosecutor and as a law clerk in Virginia's state courts. She represented me in a case in 2015, which involved trumped up but serious charges. She ably got the case dismissed and luckily I was able to get it sealed a couple years later. Whatever your situation, Jennifer Leffler can achieve the best, possible result. Ms. Leffler is the best criminal defense counsel in Fairfax County, hands down. This is coming from someone who has lots of experience dealing with lawyers.

Jennifer is VERY knowledgeable, understanding and is your friend/mother through this entire case! She is also a former prosecutor. I hired a different lawyer but my heart wasn’t set I couldn’t sleep bad anxiety so I started looking & heard Jennifer from everyone... when called for a consultation she was the only one who didn't intimidate me!!! Jennifer did a phenomenal job representing me. I started with five felony charges that she negotiated down to two misdemeanor charges. I wasn’t willing to take a plea bargin with these two misdemeanors as it would definitely impact my job and line of work. I decided to go to trial and Jennifer was very upfront with what I was up against. Her emails to me were always timely and to the point. She made me feel like I was always worth her time to talk to on the phone and answer any questions I had. In the courtroom, Jennifer was always professional and displayed just the right amount of candidness when greeting the judges (I had several court dates and witnessed Jennifer’s rapport with judges, prosecutors, detectives, etc). She went hard on people testifying against me and defended me phenomenally. It’s apparent she knows the law well and she had different courses of action ready depending on how the trial would be played out. I won my trial and was found not guilty and Jennifer continued to guide me on how I can further help myself by getting my record clean by expunging charges. Jennifer Leffler is a Fantastic attorney.! She just won a hearing for me today and did a remarkable job she is very comfortable in a court room handled herself gracefully yet professionally. She looks sweet and harmless but she is tough in the court room! Thank you sooooo much Jennifer!!

Jennifer is very knowledgeable, understanding and compassionate with her clients. She is also a former prosecutor. When we called for a consultation she was the only one who didn't intimidate us with the uncertain and the worst outcome first.  In opposite, she told us realistically what can happen and the best she can do in our situation. It turned out even better! I used to read reviews like mine and think they are fake... Nope, it truly happens!

Although this was an extremely difficult case Ms. Leffler handled my case perfectly. Although the plea deal seemed very fair she explained all of my options and we decided to go to trial where I was found "Not Guilty". If not for her help and advice I would have taken the plea and had to deal with this conviction the rest of my life. She never pressured me or tried to put it all of the decision making on my shoulders. After talking with other people in similar situations many told me that they felt their lawyer just "seemed like they wanted to get out of there and move on to the next case". Not Ms Leffler. She was going to take as much time as needed to make me feel comfortable and the right decision was made for me!

I went to consult for my sons case which was a diversion case. She was very straight forward and told me that you don't need a lawyer for your case. Though she knew I was not a potential client but she spent time with us to understand the case and gave best advice on what would happen in the scenario of a diversion case. She really made us feel reassured about his future, and I have seen very few people who would be spending time knowing that they are not potential clients

Jennifer is knowledgeable, poised and thoroughly professional. Her calm demeanor, frank but sage advice, and experience with the Fairfax County court system reduced my anxiety, since I knew I was in very competent hands.

Ms. Leffler defended my 19 year son against a reckless driving charge and possession of marijuana. She got the reckless charge lowered to improper driving and the possession charge dismissed. This was a very difficult case as my son had confessed to the police officer to the possession. However, Ms. Leffler found a couple possible irregularities and was able to get the possession dropped. She has two permanent clients in both me and my son. She was very honest and incredibly helpful during the entire process which was very painful for my family.
