Jad Najate Sarsour

In July of 2015 I was arrested in Fauquier county for possession of heroin and unauthorized possession of drug paraphernalia (needles). The bag was found on my (now ex) boyfriend and the needles were found in my purse. I didn't actually hire Jad until September 2015, while I was a fugitive because I ...violated the terms of my pretrial probation. After one phone conversation I hired him, I was a little nervous at first because I didn't know much about the firm but I was desperate. Let me just say now, hiring Jad was the best decision I made. When I went to my preliminary hearing on 9/9/15 there was still a capias for me so I did have to go to jail for revoking my bond but Jad and James Rice pushed for me, the prosecution never tested the needles they found on me, so they pushed the issue that they needed to prove heroin residue was in the needles to charge me. luckily the test came back clean, but not only that but they relentlessly pushed to get me another bond hearing. When my bond hearing finally came after sitting in jail for 3 weeks (a fault of Fauquier County- Jad and James Rice did all the could to get me on the docket as soon as possible), they defended me and got me another bond! After getting out and going to a court appearance on December 8th to set a trial date, I violated the terms of my pretrial probation again (silly me). A little less than a week before my trial, set for January 13th 2016, I got the best phone call ever. i was told that the prosecution was dropping all charges! Jad had talked to the prosecutor and kept pushing the fact the the stop and search was questionable, finally making the prosecutor cave. On 1/13/16 I was in and out of court in 5 minutes, cleared of all charges! Jad pretty much held my hand and walked me through all of it. Any time I had a question, needed to talk, needed confidence, Jad would talk to me on the phone or meet with me. The amount of money I paid for that kind of care and service is unheard of! I would reccomend Jad to every single one of my friends and family. For some reason I never had much faith and trust in lawyers, but Jad and James pulled a dream team miracle for me. My record, my job, my future, my LIFE was saved because of Jad. I dont think I can explain how grateful I am that fate pointed me in the direction of First Point Law Group. While I was incarcerated Jad spoke on the phone with my family almost every day, and had his team drive from Fairfax to Fauquier multiple times to get my bond hearing set up. I made a mistake, but Jad and James Rice made sure that mistake didn't destroy my life. If you are in legal trouble, I 100% reccomend hiring Jad. I know for a fact that Jad will look at the case from every angle and figure out how to help you in the best way possible.

Facing criminal charges can be a very daunting and difficult moment in anyone's life. I feel like my outcome could have went a lot better if I went with another attorney! His arrogant, cocky, attitude made me think he would be able to beat my charges but it backfired because after I paid him he was too busy and just didn't care enough to be the one in the court room on my court dates.... He would not even return calls after all this with questions I had. His "it's fine, it will be okay" attitude was the wrong attitude to have because I lost so much, now a felon and have so many questions. Find someone who actually cares is all I can say!
