Mr. Easley is OUTSTANDING! I trust his services with myself, friends, or family moving forward and HIGHLY recommend! Thank you!

Darwyn was referred to me by a family member, and did not disappoint. I faced 3 significant charges from 2 separate incidents (1st DWi w/ Refusal & Reckless Driving 110/55mph) and was unfamiliar with the law process regarding these charges, or the consequences that I was facing. My family reached ou...t to Darwyn around 2:30am the night of my DWI incident, and received a response from him at 6am the same morning, which foreshadowed the service I would receive from Darwyn and his team the next 6 months. Darwyn was able to negotiate and argue the DWI charge to an "improper driving", which is unheard of in Virginia courts. The subsequent Refusal was then dropped completely. The second charge of Reckless Driving at 110mph in a 55mph zone on the Dulles Toll Road, has an "unwritten rule" of 1 day in jail per each mph over 90mph. Darwyn once again was able to use his expertise and research to best prepare my case for court and ultimately present the best defense possible. The disposition ended up remaining a Reckless Driving, but was able to reduce jail time to 1 day w/ a loss of license (Restricted priveleges granted), and half of the maximum fine that could have been applied. I HIGHLY suggest Mr. Easley to anyone looking for a great defense attorney with expert knowledge in his field, and the utmost respect for his clients. I will be sure to recommend his services to my closest friends/family who may need representation moving forward, and I cannot express my gratitude to Mr. Easley for allowing me to feel comfortable through one of the lowest points in my life, while also presenting the possible consequences I was facing in a direct manner.. Thank you sir! 11/10 rating!

Criminal Defense - Drug related charge dismissed

Mr. Easley came recommended by a friend, and after my experience with Mr. Easley, I cannot recommend him enough. Original charges included two drug related felonies. Prosecution dropped one of the felonies entirely and amended the other to a misdemeanor, which was eventually dismissed over a couple y...ears in court. Mr. Easley was instrumental in easing my initial anxiety over the arrests and multiple felony charges, explaining to me the process as well as what to expect, and helping me eventually getting my case dismissed. Given the rapidly changing drug laws in VA, Mr. Easley was also able to provide guidance on future steps regarding expungement.

Reduced Charges - DUI and Marijuana

Mr. Easley was introduced to me by a friend who had use him in the past and was highly recommended. Mr. Easley represented my son for a DUI, possession of marijuana, stopping abruptly causing someone to rear end him, agitated/hostile at the police station. Mr. Easley got the DUI reduced to reck...less driving, possession of marijuana dismissed, fines were reduced, 6 month restricted license with interlock, $500 restitution to the driver that rear ended my son (due to the fact my son was drinking and abruptly stopped, no real way to get out of that). My son was lucky to have Mr. Easley represent him, not sure how many attorneys would have been capable of getting his charges reduced to what he was able to. Considering my son is a young adult, Mr. Easley was willing to chat with me about his case, what the plans were along with potential outcome. That meant a lot to me as a mother. Definitely would recommend Mr. Easley and would most definitely use him again if needed.

Mrs. M. MacDonald

Mr. Easley was hired for an appeal of a Permanent Protective Order entered in the Juvenile Domestic Relations District Court. Right from the start, he was extremely responsive and reviewed all aspects of the case, including learning as much about the accuser and the history from multiple sources. ...After issuing extensive discovery and reviewing all of the responses and frank discussions with the Appellee’s attorney, the Appellee agreed that the Order be dissolved, saving us another exhausting and emotionally draining hearing. Mr. Easley was tough and aggressive in his pursuit of justice. Hopefully, we will never need his services again, but if we do, we would not hesitate to retain him and have him in our corner.

Praising God for an incredible attorney!

I wish I could give this man 1000 stars for his services! Darwyn gave me a voice during the lowest point in my life. I encourage you to find hope in my review and in other reviews through whatever you are currently going through. At age 24, I had recently moved to Virginia after geting married. I rec...ieved a teaching job in the area and 5 weeks after starting my position at the school, I was wrongly accused of abuse and charged with a Class 1 Misdemeanor Assault and Battery. This stemmed from me correcting a misbehaving student in my classroom. My actions were exaggerated by a parent to the school behind my back. Unfortunately the school I worked at did not stick up for or support me, but Darwyn did, and that meant the world to me. I felt ashamed and confused, knowing I did nothing wrong. I felt like the entire world was looking at me like I was a criminal. One moment of me correcting improper behavior in my classroom led to an entire year of fighting this battle. Let's get to the point.. Being new to the area, I knew no one. After the "incident" occured, I reached out to a familiar civil attorney who connected me to Darwyn, a criminal attorney. I was on the phone with Darwyn within an hour. Not knowing anyone else, I trusted the referral and hired Darwyn. He immediately started working on my case. After being falsely accused of abuse, losing my job, recieving a warrant for my arrest, turning myself in (unfortunately part of the process), getting processed, etc., I was terrified, but Darwyn assured me that he could relate and gave me confidence that I honestly couldn't find on my own. My first trial was scheduled 5 months after the incident occured. This was a trial by judge. I was facing a permanent charge on my record and a $2500 fine and/or up to 1 year in jail. The prosecutor assigned to my case was nasty, honestly one of the worst ones I probably could have got, and boy was she great at making me look bad. We lost the initial trial, resulting in 10 day suspended incarceration and a $200 fine. I was devastated, but Darwyn assured me that this was normal to happen regarding that most judges (particularly the one assigned to my trial) were former prosecutors. Basically if a judge is on the fence about a decision, he leans towards the prosecutor's side in hopes that you appeal and take the matter to higher court. We did just that, so my record went back to pending. Darwyn kept saying, "we'll get 'em," and for some odd reason that made me feel a lot better about losing the case. I just felt so confident in Darwyn's services because I could tell he was so confident and passionate about my case! Fast forward 7 more months.. We had appealed the original verdict and chose jury trial for the second go-round. By this point, it had been a year since the incident occured and I felt much more confident about my case. Just like he did before my first trial, I met with Darwyn again before my second trial. We discussed all questions and concerns as well as how jury trial would go and how I was to respond to the prosecutor. I felt so confident going into the second trial and I felt extrememly prepared after meeting with Darwyn. I was extremly pleased with the way that Darwyn approached the jury, witnesses, prosecution, and the judge. He never for a second doubted winning my case and we did just that. WE WON! Jury verdict (they all have to vote unanimously) during my second trial was NOT GUILTY! I wish that every single person could use Darwyn for their criminal cases. I honestly don't think I could have found a better attorney for my case! Darywn was always quick to respond, provided all necessary information at all times, and continuously gave me confidence and hope about my situation. So a huge thanks to Darwyn and a huge praise to God for leading me through a difficult time and providing me with the most incredible and supportive attorney! Myself, my husband, and both of our families are so pleased with his services!

"I highly recommend Mr. Easley. He is a fantastic attorney that obtains absolutely fantastic results for his clients. I have had the pleasure of being able to see him in action, and words cannot describe his professionalism, kindness and integrity, as well as his legal acumen. While he does obtain fantastic results, and is well respected by the prosecutors and judges throughout state and federal courtrooms in Northern Virginia (and Washington, D.C.) the thing that is most remarkable about Darwyn is his humility and the fact that he's a genuinely nice and thoughtful guy. I highly recommend him."
