Mr. Easley came recommended by a friend, and after my experience with Mr. Easley, I cannot recommend him enough. Original charges included two drug related felonies. Prosecution dropped one of the felonies entirely and amended the other to a misdemeanor, which was eventually dismissed over a couple y...ears in court. Mr. Easley was instrumental in easing my initial anxiety over the arrests and multiple felony charges, explaining to me the process as well as what to expect, and helping me eventually getting my case dismissed. Given the rapidly changing drug laws in VA, Mr. Easley was also able to provide guidance on future steps regarding expungement.

Mr. Easley was introduced to me by a friend who had use him in the past and was highly recommended. Mr. Easley represented my son for a DUI, possession of marijuana, stopping abruptly causing someone to rear end him, agitated/hostile at the police station. Mr. Easley got the DUI reduced to reck...less driving, possession of marijuana dismissed, fines were reduced, 6 month restricted license with interlock, $500 restitution to the driver that rear ended my son (due to the fact my son was drinking and abruptly stopped, no real way to get out of that). My son was lucky to have Mr. Easley represent him, not sure how many attorneys would have been capable of getting his charges reduced to what he was able to. Considering my son is a young adult, Mr. Easley was willing to chat with me about his case, what the plans were along with potential outcome. That meant a lot to me as a mother. Our daughter was charged in Prince William County with a narcotics offense that had the potential for a maximum forty year sentence. Her case was complex and involved sensitive issues. After deciding to accept the case, we followed a challenging and at times frustrating journey in the judicial system. Our daughter had a prior criminal history that created one of the challenges confronting Mr. Easley. At one point, we had to decide on a jury trial or a bench trial that allows the judge to make the final decision. This was a very difficult and emotional matter to resolve as making the wrong decision could have put our daughter in prison for many years. After many months in the court system, our daughter's case has been finalized. Could the results have been better, yes, but a lesson that we learned in our journey was that Judges are human susceptible to outside influences and their personal bias irregardless of the robe. There is a huge inconsistency in how judges sentence presenting a daunting task for any attorney. With all of the above, We are more than pleased with the end result as we know how damaging the results could have been. The Judge did exceed her guidelines but as I noted previously this is the inconsistency in the system beyond any attorney's control. Mr. Easley was with her step by step keeping us informed of any developments throughout the case. I got charged with running a stop sign and poss of Mary Jane. From the beginning I felt violated and stereotyped as a young black man. I've lived almost free of racism my entire life. This was shocking being from Northern Virginia. I bartend part time in an area that isn't overly diverse but as I sai...d I just never experienced this. Two nights in a row I was pulled over not a block from my job. Two of the same officers were present each time. I didn't think it was a coincidence. Both times I was searched. The second time the officer pulls a small pebble of Mary Jane from my trunk. It wasnt even a .1 of a gram. I tried to explain that the officers searched this same exact car twice in 2 days. But given that the officer driving wasnt the same it didnt matter. Not implying they planted it because I dont know that and didn't see that. Fortunately i hired Mr. Easley. All my charges were dismissed and I felt like justice prevailed. Easley is a great communicator and pays close attention to detail when you relay your story. What he pulled off for me is anything but a miracle. I was in the middle of a background check for a promotion at my full time job. This situation was absolutely critical for me. I did have to complete some community service and clean drugs screens etc. I was happy too complete them and in my own way earn redemption. Charges like these ruin kids futures and hurt their professional opportunities down the line. I'm blessed to have had him represent me and have already recommended him to people.
