You better hire Steve before they do!

Steve has a high attention to detail and a wealth of experience to guide you through a difficult situation. He knows family law inside and out. He will help you protect what is yours and hopefully get you the fair and equitable settlement you deserve. He really saved me a bundle.

Do not let the opposing party hire him

From the first time I called Mr. Krohn's office and spoke to Carol, to the hearing I had yesterday, Mr. Krohn and his staff have not disappointed. Communication, integrity, diligence, objectivity, patience, preparation, skill, and experience- I give them all 5 stars. Mr. Krohn helped me stay focuse...d during my hearing. Once Mr. Krohn started questioning the opposing party, I was almost embarrassed for them. He caught every lie and trick. My advice is this: do not let the opposing party hire him.

Great attorney

Stephen was the calm in the storm while I was going through my divorce. I spoke with a couple of attorneys before finding Stephen but I chose him because from the very beginning he explained the process and the parameters of each issue. This was so helpful. With the other attorneys I spoke with I ...felt like I was in the dark and trusting my future to someone without any knowledge of what they were planning to do to represent me or what the legal parameters were in my case. With Stephen, I trusted his judgment every step of the way and felt that he always tried to do the "right" thing for me and my children. No games... just straightforward and fair. I highly recommend Stephen!

His benefit, not mine. My most expensive mistake to date.

I've used many lawyers. Stephen Krohn seemed knowledgable, experienced, and strict with his timekeeping, when I consulted him several times over several years. But when actually handling my case, I came to feel he was careless, inconsistent, uncommunicative, costly, and arrogant.. A client shoul...dn't have to point out serious errors in the documents to the attorney. I didn't feel he'd read, much less written, some of the things for which I was charged his very high hourly rate. He had assured me repeatedly about the strength of my position. But after months of expensive, seemingly half-hearted work, he settled the case for many times what I feel I'd have been able to do, early, on my own. He may have a reputation for dumping clients. In my case, for some reason he decided he "didn't feel capable" of deposing the opposing party. I felt I had no real representation, and felt pressured to close. I felt he was not fighting for me. He appeared not to pursue opportunities for taking the offense in the case, and gave away at least one very important potential advantage, contrary to our discussions. He did not appear to treat my assets as if they were his own in the settlement. I was told that opposing attorney told her client that "Stephen Krohn's weakness is his arrogance." I have used many other attorneys. I think it went beyond that. I recommend someone less expensive, less arrogant, and for whom your interest is primary. Stephen Krohn was the most expensive mistake I've made to date.
