Maria Rebecca Flynn concentrates her practice in all matters of Real Estate Law including Title. While she went to law school for a career, she has since developed a special niche for helping those struggling in this economy. One of the first attorneys trained under Chief Judge Bell’s foreclosure initiative, she has helped countless local families lower their mortgage payments and save their homes from foreclosure. She believes that the banking system is fundamentally broken and feels the need to do everything in her ability to fight it. This driving force comes from a passion for helping others and doing what is right. She has developed a reputation for being tough and tenacious while standing up for the rights of those in need.
Ms. Flynn’s practice area is not limited to foreclosure defense and mediation. She is also a real estate broker and has a title company. As an attorney owning a title company she is able to accommodate all types of real estate transactions including out of office settlements. Flynn Title & Escrow, LLC has a licensed, experienced, and knowledgeable staff that always maintains a great rapport with lenders, brokers and real estate agents. Ms. Flynn’s title company will assure that you have personal attention to your transaction every time, and your file will not be lost in the shuffle. Flynn Title & Escrow, LLC currently services all counties and cities in the State of Maryland. Its services include, but are not limited to, Purchase and Refinance transactions as well as Short Sale negotiations.
Maria chooses to practice law as a solo practitioner so she can be hands on with her clients and address all their personal needs. Ms. Flynn recognizes the emotional trauma and financial aspects of all things related to this economic downturn, especially those families facing foreclosure. She addresses this crisis with services of negotiation and mediation. Most of her business comes from referral. She achieves a high success rate for her clients. Passionate about her work, she spends a significant part of her practice working pro bono for clients who can’t afford legal services.
Ms. Flynn grew up locally. She was born in Annapolis and attended St. Mary’s High School. She did her undergrad at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. For law school she attended the University Of Baltimore School of Law where she concentrated in Real Property.
Maria spends her free time with her girlfriends on her boat, appropriately named “Legally Blonde”. She enjoys hunting and fishing and anything related to the Chesapeake Bay. She is honored as one of Annapolis’ top 40 under 40 young business professionals and is a supporter of local charities, including Hospice 100 and The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
