After finally getting my household in order after moving from a community property state, I consulted with Andre McDonald I need to know if all of the documents needed to be revised. The answer was yes. I hired Mr. McDonald and would not hesitate to hire him again if needed. I chose Mr. McDonal...d from the internet with the following criteria. I wanted a sole practitioner within a reasonable distance from Odenton. Why a sole practitioner? I had spoken with a firm specializing in estate law. The lawyer did not fully answer my questions and stated if I wanted answers, I would need to come in on an hourly basis. I did not feel the questions I posed were out of the ordinary, nor did Mr. McDonald. He not only answered, but provided detailed information. Normally, Mr. McDonald operates with a two week turn-around: preliminary consultation followed by review of your finished documents. I had a family issue that necessitated a resolution before I felt I could safely define my estate parameters. Mr. McDonald and his office staff were understanding and did not pressure me. Mr. McDonald explained issues clearly and did not hesitate to tell me if what I had thought I would do, was not wise. He would follow that with a scenario that clearly illustrated why my initial plan could create problems. I highly recommend Mr. McDonald; you will not be disappointed.
