Kevin Gerald Burke

Kevin G. Burke earned his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and his law degree from Rutgers Law School in Camden, New Jersey.  He is admitted to practice law before the Bars of Maryland, Pennsylvania and Maine.

Kevin focuses his practice in the areas of Estate Planning and Administration/Probate including the use of trusts and other entities for probate avoidance, estate tax saving and planned giving strategies.  Kevin also counsels on family business succession planning and elder law issues including medical assistance planning and adult guardianship.  He is a member of Maryland State Bar Association and its Estates and Trusts and Elder Law Sections.    

Prior to opening his own law office Kevin served in he the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General Corps (JAG) from 2005 to 2014 and attained the rank of Major.  During his time in the Air Force Kevin served in New Mexico, South Korea, Iraq and Maryland and assisted thousands of service members with their legal needs.  For his service in Iraq Kevin was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal and was later named Staff Officer of the year in 2010 for a global organization with over five thousand personnel.  During this time, Kevin also represented the United States in over one thousand matters as a Special United States Attorney for the Districts of New Mexico and Maryland.
