Review for Tim Cook

Tim is amazing! He has gone above and beyond. He explained every detail regarding my case, as well as worked with me on my payments. Super understanding! Thanks, Tim!

Provisional license offense

Tim was very efficient and explained everything to me prior to seeing the Mva judge. I needed an attorney and he was there for me with very short notice. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Professional, Personable, & Genuine

Mr. Cook represented me 2 years ago for a criminal case that was handled very well and very professional. He reviewed every step prior to court and explained my options. I was satisfied with the outcome. Recently, I retained Mr. Cook for traffic violations. He took the time to explain the details of... what to expect in the courtroom and was satisfied with the outcome. Mr. Cook is very easy to talk to and really gives you the facts and explains everything you need to know. I am so impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. I feel very luck to have Mr.Cook represent me.

I wouldn't have the freedom to write this if it weren't for him

I'd gone through most of my life without ever running into any legal problems. Then, about a year or so ago, I'd managed to torpedo my life and a relatively unblemished criminal record. I was facing multiple felony charges and over a half dozen misdemeanors across two different cases in two different... counties. At best, I was looking at at least a few years in jail. Worst case scenario...decades. I had no experience dealing with this kind of situation. The enormity of it was terrifying. Friends and family suggested attorneys, but none struck me as promising. Some knew they had me over a barrel and made big promises for a big fee. Others couldn't be bothered to remember my name, even as we sat discussing whether or not I was going to have a future or not. Not the kind of thing that inspires confidence, I tell you. At my wits end, I started combing through all the mail I got from layers offering my services, and, surprise, that's how I found Tim. His stood out. Not only did he get my information right, but it had a personal touch to it that made it stand out from the rest. So I decided to give him call...and I'm so glad I did. Tim offered to see me right away. He reviewed my case with me for over an hour, not once pushing for money or pretending he could make it all go away. It was clear to me he knew his business. He knew the judges and district attorneys. And he knew I was in a bad spot with not a lot to be hopeful about. So I was amazed when he offered to take my case at a very reasonable price. Right from the start he gave me a clear outline of what he would do to help me in the coming months. He walked me through what he believed my best options were, he listened to my concerns, he prepared me for the worst, but gave me hope for the best. I took his advice and got busy enrolling in a rehabilitation program, doing community service, and putting together the documentation he'd need to defend me my rights. Thanks to Tim I was able to get a postponement and leave the state for residential treatment. He worked closely with the staff while I was there to promptly update me on my case and to keep up with my progress. In all that time he neither showed any panic or made extravagant promises, he was direct, professional, and did everything he said he'd do. While isolated for months on end in treatment, I couldn't have asked for better representation and peace of mind that my interests were being looked out for while I focused on my own healing. Fast forward 6 months and it's crunch time. Tim and the DA are talking and the state has got it out for me. My co-defendant took a deal and threw me under the bus for a suspended sentence. He's got a long record, wealthy parents, and hasn't done a damn thing to help himself but throw me to the wolves. He got a walk and now I'm the DA's slam dunk. I was boned. Tim never gave up the fight for me though, and he never lost his cool. He was always realistic about my chances, but was always ready with options or strategy I could pursue to keep up the fight. And hot damn if he didn't keep it up until my very first day in court; making a hail-mary appeal to the victims on my behalf and letting them know all I'd been doing to make things right. And just like that, he earned me a second chance at life. That morning in court, Tim had my victim appealing for leniency on my behalf. As long as I kept up the good work I was doing, they were willing to give me a chance at redemption. The judge agreed to follow their recommendation, the DA backed off, and in the span of a single hour Tim had gotten both felony charges and 6 of 8 misdemeanors dropped. Instead of serving time, I got probation and a 7yr suspended sentence...I got my life back. Soon I'll be off to court again on some lesser charges, but Tim's just as gung-ho about fighting this minor case as he was the other. And I gotta say, I know I wouldn't want anyone else backing me in my corner.

My thanks for making my life a little easier.

I brought my Personal Injury case to Mr. Timothy Cook exactly 2 WEEKS before the statute of limitations was to expire on an automobile accident I was involved in. The other party admitted responsibility so I went on the internet and bought a book thinking I could represent myself. BOY WAS I WRONG! ... I was very fortunate when I contacted Mr. Timothy Cook, who handles many areas of law in addition to Personal Injury, and he agreed to take the case. Working with no time left, he was able to file a lawsuit which prevented me from receiving NOTHING to getting more than I thought I would. Mr. Cook and his staff kept in touch with me during all aspects of my case. When I was deposed by the opposing attorney, Mr. Cook asked to talk to me in private. He realized, based on my pre-existing back injuries, that a trial would not bring me the result I would expect and in fact, because of my previous injuries, a jury could award me nothing. He then explained an arbitration. He advised me of the pros and cons of both a trial and an arbitration. Based on his expert advice, I choose the arbitration. Mr. Cook had several discussion with opposing council and he was so convincing to them that they increased their initial bottom offer by a sizable amount. All along I was kept in the know by both Mr. Cook and his staff. The arbitrator did not rule in my favor due to my previous injuries but thanks to Mr. Cook's knowledge of the possible outcome of a trial jury and by his ability to convince the attorney representing the insurance company to increase the initial 'bottom' arbitration figure, I won much more than I thought I would. I was a very lucky person to have been represented by Mr. Cook. I believe his experience in litigating so many of these type of cases, that his advise for me to go with arbitration rather than a jury trial saved me from getting nothing to the greater amount he negotiated prior to going to arbitration. I was not the easiest of clients to deal with as I thought I knew Personal Injury Law based on information from ONE source on the internet. Thank God I did not even attempt to do this myself. I never would have even made it to arbitration based on what I went through in my deposition and forward. Not only did Mr. Cook and his staff save me from financial disaster but AFTER his firm was paid they continued to pursue other avenues for me to be reimbursed from my out of pocket expenses by contacting my insurance company who paid me a handsome figure under the PIP clause in my policy as well as other money from my health provider. I RECOMMEND MR. COOK AND HIS STAFF TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE! They were knowledgeable, understanding, patient, compassionate AND THEY WON! My thanks especially to Tim Cook and his legal assistant, Helena. I would have had creditors after me if it were not for your expertise.
