Simran Rahi

Simran Rahi is an experienced trial attorney and senior associate attorney with Portner & Shure. He represents clients in matters of personal injury – including, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice – and criminal defense throughout the state and federal courts in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Mr. Rahi has tried numerous civil jury trials and over 100 bench trials to verdict.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rahi worked as a trial attorney at one of the nation’s largest automobile insurance companies, GEICO, as well as a regional boutique defense law firm, where he defended bodily injury lawsuits from settlement through trial. Most recently, he worked at one of the top 250 largest law firms in the U.S. Mr. Rahi uses his insurance and defense insight and background to the benefit of the injured clients here at Portner & Shure, whether it’s through obtaining a strong settlement or through verdict in the trial process. The firm is fortunate to have Mr. Rahi’s trial experience on our team and his insight into the defense side.

Mr. Rahi is a D.C. metropolitan native. He received his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from George Mason University, and his law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law where he was Legislative Editor on the Journal of Energy, Climate and the Environment.
