By adhering to this approach, I have obtained results that typically exceed expectations. Although I concentrate my practice in litigation, I understand that litigation alone is not always the best route to resolve a client’s problem.  I know the importance of carefully evaluating the costs and benefits of each possible course of action before a decision to move forward is made.

During more than 25 years of experience as a litigator, I have successfully represented clients in both the federal courts and trial courts throughout the State of Maryland. Arguing cases in both the Court of Special Appeals and the Court of Appeals of Maryland has helped me gain the perspective needed to craft winning litigation strategies. I have handled contract disputes, tortious interference with business relations claims, as well as corporate, partnership and shareholder disputes. I have successfully obtained punitive damages in business and shareholders disputes where such awards are rarely granted. I also regularly assist my banking clients with asset recovery, receiverships and transaction documentation.
