I used Richard B Rosenblatt on a financial matter, commencing around Sept. 2015. I had noticed the disciplinary issue listed and concluded that it did not reflect on either his ethics or ability, and was just due to his lack of responding to an unjustified complaint. This same thing happened to me, and was actually the genesis of this entire legal matter. This was a complex issue, which had been previously turned down by another "big-firm" practice who refused to represent me. I will mention that Richard is very easy to work with, which to me is a big deal. Some lawyers can be very haughty or dismissive (in my limited experience) but he is very down-to-earth. There was no trial involved, but there were serious negotiations with the other party. As a result of his negotiations, the terms of the opposing party were drastically shifted in our favor and we saved a very substantial amount of money. This was really quite a shock, as I only engaged Richard to avoid a worst-case scenario. I never expected to come out with a best-case one. This is a real testament to Richard's negotiating skill, as we really had no leverage in this situation, and I can't figure out how he actually did it. But I suspect it had to be a combination of persuasive argument combined with being a genuinely likable individual.

Although we were denied forebearance, a modification was established just before we successfully sold our home.
