If you are reading this do not look any further if you need a lawyer. My story goes back 20 years with Micheal Taylor. Halloween 2003 I drove home with some friends, got pulled over and I refused to blow. (This was the last year in MD before the mandatory breathalyzer if you refused law) I found Mr T...aylor through a friend and his words are exactly what I’m telling you now! “Don’t look any further”. Best advice I have ever been given. The day of court I’m sitting with Mr Taylor and the state’s attorney comes up trying to make a deal with him. Mr Taylor said, we will do this, exact words I cannot remember because the states attorney came by 50 times. We were the last case and after lunch. By this time Mr Taylor was not happy. I met with Mr Taylor a few times before this day and he is a cool as a cucumber. When the clerk said my name Mr Taylor took the room over with a voice I never heard from him “Present, Micheal Taylor representing Mr Thompson and we plead not guilty to all charges” bam! Briefcase on the table and silence came to the courtroom. Me, personally at that moment in time, I was like, holy s#%^ who is this guy! Well let me tell you the only thing he was missing was a Cape! He put that police officer on the stand and within 3 questions the officer was asked to leave the court room. Judge looked at the States Attorney and said and I quote verbatim “I’m not as shocked to see what we have here as much as I am shocked to see what the state doesn’t have and asking the state to drop all charges” The 2 attorneys acted as if they didn’t hear the judge, so the judge said it again loudly! “Yes your honor, upon further review the state would like to drop all charges”. Man! No words can explain how I felt that day!!! Mr. Taylor was hired by me a second time around for a DUI charge. Throughout the process he has been extremely responsive and thorough and always quick to return back any calls or questions I had.
