I received a DUI charge in February. I did not refuse the breathalyzer test and blew almost double the legal limit. Subsequently, I thought I had no chance with getting away with my case. Until I was 24 years old I had never found myself in any legal trouble or had any use for an attorney. I am now 25 and have been stupid enough to land myself 2 DUI's with in one years time. I was arrested for DUI in Rockville Maryland on 09/18/2015. I was given Mr. Taylor's name by an associate of his. From our very first conversation I found him to be professional and knowledgeable not only of the law but of the specific court I was being charged in. This turned out to be extremely ...important. Mr Taylor had intimate knowledge of what the judge I would be appearing in front of wanted to see I had done after being arrested. Mr Taylor insisted I show the court before appearing how serious I was about my situation. He got me into an out patient rehab, a victims impact panel program, AA meetings and community service. He made sure I had letters both from my employer as well as from the programs counselors all of which showed the judge I was taking this very seriously. The judge in fact remarked that Mr Taylor knew exactly what he liked to see because most of the things I had already completed the judge would have mandated himself. I was given a PBJ probation before judgement. I served a 1 year probation period and was not convicted of a DUI which I was guilty of. I did not lose my license, nor was my insurance company even contacted. DMV was never notified and I owe all this to Mr. Taylor. His knowledge of the law and his knowledge of the court and the judges got me a judgement I did not think possible with the tough DUI laws of today.
