Daniel Edward Kenney

Daniel Kenney, Esq. of ChasenBoscolo trial lawyers is an experienced trial attorney with a proven track record of aggressive litigation and high quality representation for clients.  ChasenBoscolo is a personal injury trial law firm with a reputation of being "trial lawyers that care." 

Prior to joining ChasenBoscolo, Daniel was the principal attorney at DK Associates, LLC.  DK Associates provides litigation and trial representation to Qui Tam, whistleblower, retaliation and personal injury clients.  While at DK Associates, Daniel recovered millions and millions of dollars for clients at trial and through settlement.   Daniel has tried multiple cases in federal district court and state court and argued precedential cases in the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, Maryland Supreme Court and filed cases, briefs and successful amicus arguments with the United States Supreme Court.

Daniel has attended multiple trial seminars around the country and is consistently focused on developing trial preparation and skills.  

Prior to DK Associates, Daniel worked as an associate at Tully Rinckey PLLC, where Daniel represented both federal sector and private sector employees in a broad range of tort law litigation. In that position, Daniel gained extensive experience representing clients at trial and hearings on discrimination, whistleblower retaliation, qui tam, IIED and wrongful termination claims.

Before joining Tully Rinckey PLLC, Daniel served as a senior associate for a Maryland labor and employment law firm. There he represented clients in proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Secretary of Labor, and various adjudicatory bodies. He also negotiated and drafted employee handbooks and various contracts, including severance agreements, profit incentive agreements and employee stock option plans. He advised venture capitalists on a range of post-formation employment matters and other clients on high-level executive compensation packages.

Daniel’s litigation experience applies to state and federal laws, including torts, defamation, negligence, assaults, tortious interference, punitive cases, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, False Claims Act (FCA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Whistleblower Protection Act (WPA), and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
