Charles (Charlie) Lamari is a civil trial attorney in College Park, Maryland. Charlie is experienced in handling a variety personal injury, criminal, real estate, community association, and landlord-tenant matters. Prior to joining Christian, Ashin & Brown, P.C., Charlie was an associate attorney at a renowned large Bethesda, Maryland law firm for five (5) years where handled hundreds of trials and hearings throughout Maryland’s state and federal courts. After law school Charlie served as the Judicial Law Clerk for the District Court of Maryland for Montgomery County, where he clerked for all ten (10) of its sitting judges. Charlie is admitted to practice law in Maryland’s state and federal courts, and the District of Columbia.
In 2022, Charlie obtained a $1.2 million dollar settlement for a client who sustained a permanent foot injury in a Maryland car accident. In 2023, Charlie secured a $1 million settlement for a client who sustained a permanent leg injury in a Maryland tractor-trailer accident.
In 2022 & 2023 Charlie was selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for his Plaintiff's Personal Injury work in Maryland and Washington, D.C. The process for being selected to “Rising Stars” is similar to the process for being selected to “Super Lawyers” except the attorney must be younger than 40 years old or in practice for less than 10 years. Worst Ever
This guy tried to intimidate me by walking up to me in a very aggressive fashion. He was mad because I questioned him on my case and was pointing out he was a liar. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. He threatened to droppl my case 2 weeks before my court date. Very unprofessional

Replied last September 27, 2021Lamont, without violating any attorney-client privileged information, I feel it is necessary to respond. In November 2017, you retained our office to represent you in a property damage dispute because your insurance carrier denied your property damage claim. To that end, we filed a Breach of Contract Complaint in the District Court of Maryland for Prince George's County. A trial date was approaching so I scheduled a meeting in our office to answer discovery and prepare for trial. After that meeting I terminated our attorney-client relationship as a result of your behavior. Specifically, at our meeting I notified you that opposing counsel was filing a Motion for Continuance. I further explained that the Motion for Continuance would likely be granted because opposing counsel just got into the case, and he needed time to obtain an expert witness. At this point you became belligerent, and made several meritless allegations towards me. Thereafter, you began raising your voice using obscenities. This behavior continued as I escorted you to our front down where you began yelling racial slurs towards me, and approached me in an aggressive manner. This tirade was heard throughout our office. Once you finally calmed down I instructed you that I could no longer represent you, and offered to provide you with names of other attorneys who may be able to assist you going forward.
