Great job

Friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Mr. Hirsch immediately formulated a plan for my divorce (including worst case scenario) and helped me through the process to get a fair settlement with an ex who was never satisfied. His knowledge of opposing counsel and the court system I believe helped as ...well. He and his staff were responsive to emails or calls about concerns I may have had during the process. Highly recommended.

Compassionate but pragmatic

Brian is very experienced and knowledgeable about property and custody agreements and has great "desk side" manner. I found him to be compassionate to my situation involving a very difficult ex and that he worked always to appropriately emphasize the well-being of my children. He was friendly yet f...irm with opposing counsel in terms of standing up for my and my kids' rights. The whole process took longer and more money than I wanted, but that was far more because of my ex than anything under Brian's control. Brian was in fact good at advising me when expending energy and money to take legal actions would or would not be "worth it."

Mr. Hirsch was great to work with on a challenging case

Brian style was well suited to resolve an otherwise difficult, contentious and emotionally charged circumstance. Brian is approachable and although we did not use his mediation capabilities, his experience in mediation facilitated a PSA and a more collaborative approach between he and my ex's attorn...ey. We avoided court and his superior skills resulted in a very satisfactory outcome. I believe Brian to be genuine in his desire to save the client from wasting money on trivia and being efficient and productive with my time and money. He also has excellent communication skills, which are very helpful in articulating positions for emotional circumstances.

First Class Representation

I highly recommend Mr. Brian Hirsch. He handled my divorce and recent subsequent update activity. After I'd gone rounds with my ex who'd hired one of the most unprofessional attorney's in the area and was running up the tab for no reason, I hired Mr. Hirsch and he put a stop to it. I quickly reali...zed his reputation in NOVA is first rate. My ex's attorney took a much more professional tone from that point forward and most of the nonsense stopped. We eventually settled prior to wasting senseless amounts of money in court. Mr. Hirsch will give you the facts straight even though you may not like to hear it. If you listen to him, he won't allow you to waste money chasing a outcome that is unrealistic. He was so professional that when my ex and I had to update our custody agreement 5 yrs later, she trusted him to do the updates for us (as I was his client) and we worked everything through him. I will definitely go back to him for any subsequent family related civil matter.

Great Separation/Divorce Representation

Brian Hirsch has represented me in (sadly) two separation/divorce cases over the last 10 years. I say sadly only because like the people who are viewing this, it wasn't how I would have had things turn out. Nonetheless, each time Brian gave me great, straight forward advice. He recognizes the pai...n that you're going through, but remains positive as your representative. His sense of humor is a blessing. He knows the law and the process and doesn't get rattled by difficult challenges. I recommend him without reservation.
