John handled my case after I was struck by a cab that made a left into into my bike lane. It would be a gross understatement to say that the months following the accident were a difficult time in my life. I thought the case would be cut and dry because I was following traffic signals; had the right ...of way; and as I mentioned above, was riding in the designated bike path. Nevertheless, cabs are notoriously difficult to extract a settlement from and they carry minimal insurance. I had sustained broken bones and underwent months of physical therapy. I was working freelance, so I did not have sick leave and had to leave hundreds of paid hours on the table.
