Named a “Best Law Firm” for Personal Injury in DC by US News & World Report! Call now
I am a civil trial attorney whose practice is limited to catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation in state and federal courts. I am one of only a dozen DC based plaintiff trial lawyers who are Board Certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in the area of Civil Trial Law. This ABA recognized certification is based on actual jury trial experience, peer endorsements from former opponents, references from Judges and the results of a written examination. I was honored by my peers in 2010 when the Trial Lawyers Association for the DC Metropolitan Area presented me with their Trial Lawyer of the Year Award. I am a Past President of that organization, as well as the local chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Licensed in the District of Columbia and in Maryland, I have handled numerous significant cases on behalf of seriously injured persons, from seven figure settlements to noteworthy cases that have resulted in local or national publicity. Unlike a number of law firms that actively advertise on the Internet, our office actually takes cases to trial if we cannot achieve a fair settlement for our client - and the insurance companies that we regularly deal with know that. I limit my practice to the representation of seriously injured persons or their survivors, and do so only on a contingent fee basis. For several decades, it has been my privilege and goal to work with many families to help them achieve justice in the face of catastrophic loss on account of the conduct of an individual, corporation or governmental entity. I hope that we can help you.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
I endorse this lawyer. I met Mr. Trombly through the Trial Lawyers Association of DC, where he is a past president and active member. I shared an office suite with Mr. Trombly's firm and I got to witness his operation on a daily basis. Mr. Trombly is always generous with his time and has a wealth of experience to offer his clients and fellow attorneys. He has advised me on difficult injury cases and no doubt I'm a better lawyer for it.

Relationship: Worked together on matter
I have worked against, and now with Ken for many years. I first met him doing personal injury defense work. We had several cases against each other. Ken was always well-prepared, knew his case, he fought hard and he is reasonable to deal with. He is truly a skilled adversary. He was also very civil to work with. Since I began to do Plaintiff's personal injury work, I have reached out to Ken on various occasions for his input on strategy or issues that might come up . He is one of my go-to colleagues because of his skill and experience in personal injury cases and my confidence in his opinion. If I needed a personal injury lawyer, I would not hesitate to seek his assistance. He is top-notch.

I endorse Ken because when I have called him with a question, he has been generous with his time. Also, when I have referred potential clients to him, he has always taken the time to investigate their matter and advise them accordingly. He is a true professional.
