Biography
Attorney Jeffrey Downey is an established, well-respected trial attorney with more than 25 years of experience. Throughout his career, Mr. Downey has handled a wide range of highly complex litigation matters. Representative cases include a large antitrust case against a pharmaceutical company, complex medical malpractice cases, numerous catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death claims, civil rights cases and many federal False Claims Act cases. The breadth of his experience informs his current practice, which focuses on personal injury, nursing home negligence, medical malpractice and health care fraud whistleblower.
After practicing with a renowned corporate law firm for many years, Mr. Downey parted ways in 2007 to start his own practice without the bureaucracy of a big law firm. Today, his new practice combines the services and resources of a large firm but adds the individual attention that only a smaller practice can offer.
Mr. Downey has secured significant settlements and verdicts for many of his clients and established important legal precedents and rulings for injured victims of malpractice. Great lawyer! Excellent service
