Biography
Bill, a Certified Elder Law Attorney and member of the Special Needs Alliance, began his law career in 1982 and decided to focus on estate and elder law exclusively in 1992. Over his career he has helped thousands of individuals and families with estate planning, family trusts, veterans’ benefits, Medicaid planning and probate. A native of Delaware, Bill’s character and demeanor set the tone for the entire Estate & Elder Law Services team. His practice is welcoming, serves clients with compassion and helps people make decisions for protecting their assets, families and themselves.
After high school Bill joined the Marines, an experience that provided the foundation for his personal and professional beliefs and values. Following his service, Bill entered the Reformed Episcopal Seminary, earning his Bachelor of Divinity degree in 1979. After graduation from Rutgers Law School and his admission to the Delaware Bar, Bill began his legal career as a prosecutor.
He sees this work as a ministry because he is helping the elderly and others whose worries are eased by the services he and his team provide.
Bill and his wife, Gail, have a daughter, Julie. In addition to the many activities Bill is involved with in the community, he is an avid outdoor sportsman who delights in the time spent with family, friends and colleagues.

Dr. and Mrs.
n June of 2016 our friend had a stroke and was in the hospital for 5 ½ months because there was no one to make decisions for her. She has no family and had no power of attorney.
