Stop Your Search For a Great Divorce/Custody Lawyer!

When I first met Ash, I knew he was going to be the one to help me. Ash is confident, experienced, and knowledgable. I felt this from day one and hired him on the spot. Ash gave me the courage and confidence to go through the entire divorce process. From initial paperwork through discovery and a lo...t of additional steps, he supported me and always kept me in the loop with what was going on. The cherry on top is that we fought through a PFA, divorce, and custody and kept winning each step of the way. See, I have bipolar disorder and had a postpartum psychosis episode several weeks after our daughter was born. My ex-husband used that against me in the custody battle claiming that I was an unfit mother. Ash made a plan for me to go see psychologists, which led to home visits, interviews with friends and families, etc. He was so strategic from start to finish. He knew the exact timing for each visit to pyschologist #1 and then psychologist #2. After almost a year of this, it was evident to the judge that I was stable and a fit mother and I got a graduated plan of visitation all the way to 50/50 custody. Oh yes and I did I mention that my ex-husband tried to move thousands of miles away to his hometown and didn't care for me to see my daughter at all. So, if you need someone who is going to advocate, empathize, and keep you in the loop and offer an excellent plan get a consultation and you'll see what I mean. Thanks to Ash I have my daughter back in my life.

I retained Ash in connection with a divorce. He guided me through the process and addressed all of my concerns in plain English. He also successfully negotiated a settlement on my behalf that was better than as expected when the process started. Ash is a consumate gentlemen and a skilled advocate.... I highly recommend him.

Great lawyer!

Achille was without a doubt the best lawyer I've ever met. He took his time to sit down with me and answer any questions I had, and inform me of what my options were. The divorce was one of the worst parts my life, and Ash knew it. He called to make sure I was ok, and gave advice like a friend. E...verytime we met, I left his office with the weight off my shoulders, knowing he had it handled. He was on top of everything from day one all the way through the trial and rulings. Hes a good man, and I highly recommend him to anyone who is searching for representation.

A surprising very different experience than the following reviews

While ignorance is no excuse for a lack of knowledge of child support laws. During a $300 - 45 minute consultation, I was advised to stay out of Delaware and to get a job at McDonalds. I thought some sort of recourse or defense or rights would be available to allow myself to begin to fill in a deep h...ole I have apparently dug myself into. Summer 2001 - I begged a mother to be, not bring a child into this world from our casual weekend encounter. Getting to know each other, the mother cited reason for a previous divorce was due to an inability to conceive. While in the midst of my own separation and weakness, I foolishly trusted and ignored or avoided the awkwardness of discussing protection. No other contact other than the initial morning after and notification of conception was made by the mother until I received a summons in 2003 where I did not contest $493 monthly + $13 towards arrears. The following 6 years an abbreviated acronym appeared on my pay stub along with 4 other typical line item debits. In 2009 after 23 yrs, I was laid off. This started the proverbial digging of the hole I am at the bottom of. After 2 yrs of unemployment benefits - 1/3rd my previous income - the same line item debit for support was exhausted. A chance meeting of the buyer from my DE residence produced a stack of mail accumulated over the previous 10 years. Much to my surprise that mail contained a bench warrant for failure to appear. While I knew support payments would not simply go away. It was low on a list of personal issues, financial problems. As low on a DeadBeat Dad list I may appear, the facts are:, that whoever took whatever and sent it where ever for nearly a decade. In my mind, it was as if I never made a payment. The fact that there is a child without a father only now crosses my mind regularly due to the trouble I realize I am now in, severe depression and other negative thoughts. I made no attempt to rectify situation until just recently when local PA Law enforcement asked for identification due to my disabled vehicle that was getting ready to be towed. So after searching for information related to bench warrants, a Sussex county attorney referred me to this New Castle attorney -Achille C Scache. During the initial consultation Mr. Scache made me to feel quite small. He was clear and direct that I should call or that for thousands of dollars he could call to find out how much I would need to reinstate my expired PA license. I'm not even sure it has been revoked. Recently I read (unconfirmed) that a $1000 bond for failure to appear could be paid with out having to turn myself in. This wasn't offered. I fear that turning myself in, to do so, would likely cause the hole I have dug to become a bottomless pit. Another example of Mr. Cash behavior, when asked how the courts would view my hiring of an attorney rather than pay arrears, his response was that "i have a mortgage to pay too" In closing, While I have a better understanding that regardless of circumstances like being forced into fatherhood or being bankrupt and unemployed, that I have no rights or defense or protection from a likely contradictory incarceration. Therefore I am surprised that he charged what I consider $300 fee for the advise to stay out of Delaware and that Courts don't care about the history or my current circumstances.
