We gave Marcia a very difficult and time consuming case. My husband had a heart attack while being detained. Marcia was able to fight and keep him out of prison. Ms. Ibrahim told me I could get married in China, and one year later have my step-daughter get her Visa. I returned married with the documentation she requested and ONLY THEN did Ms. Ibrahim bother to look and see my step-daughter was 18. She then told me "Your step-daughter is too old, we cannot get... her here." Since then I have spent thousands of dollars and tried numerous ways to bring my step daughter here, and all my effort have failed. Last summer my step-daughter turned 21 and has no Visa, thus making the possibility of her coming to the US any time soon even more remote. This is an extremely painful situation for my step-daughter, my wife and me. And it was all preventable had Ms. Ibrahim not been too lazy to look at my step-daughter's age at the beginning, when she told me only one more year was required.
