Michelle Claire Power

Michelle Power is an attorney at The Charleston Firm in West Chester, Pennsylvania, where she focuses her practice on estate planning and estate administration, along with real estate, small business matters, and select family law cases. Michelle is dedicated to helping clients navigate important legal decisions with clarity and confidence, always working to achieve practical and effective solutions for the individuals and families she represents.

Michelle earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware and later received her Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law. While in law school, she was involved with the American Bar Association Committee and Women in the Profession, where she developed an early interest in leadership and advocacy within the legal profession.

Michelle began her legal career at the Law Office of James I. Devine in Norristown, where she gained valuable experience in the day-to-day practice of law. During law school, she also interned with the Pennsylvania Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs, conducting legal research and gaining insight into regulatory practice.

After graduating from law school, Michelle practiced for several years at a law firm in West Chester where she was in charge of the Family Law division. She later joined The Charleston Firm, where her practice evolved to focus primarily on estate planning and estate administration, while continuing to assist clients with real estate, business matters, and certain family law issues.

In addition to her legal practice, Michelle is a licensed title insurance agent in Pennsylvania and operates Next Chapter Settlements, LLC, a title company that allows her to assist clients with residential and commercial real estate transactions. This dual role enables Michelle to provide clients with a more comprehensive approach when legal matters intersect with real estate ownership, estate administration, or property transfers.

Michelle’s diverse experience allows her to bring a well-rounded perspective to her work and to guide clients through complex legal issues that often arise during significant life transitions. She understands that legal matters are frequently tied to personal and financial milestones, and she approaches each case with both diligence and compassion.
