Absolutely never use this law firm. My mother passed away two years ago with a very simple estate only savings, she had already sold her home and liquidated everything. We hired Jay Fisher and his legal assistant Theresa Chuplis. There was so many mistakes made. Several times requesting information ...only to be told they had made yet another mistake and it would take longer. 1) they waited over three months to put the announcement in the newspaper, causing a delay. 2) call to ask about when everything would be finalized and was told they were finishing up and it would be about a week. Waited a week didn't hear anything. Waited another week and called him. I asked again when everything would be finalized. Mr. Fisher then pulled my mother's file and advised me that it wouldn't be finished for a year. I said, but you told me two weeks ago that it would be a week. All he said was " that was a mistake. ". 3) a year came and went still we waited. Called again asking when the case would be finalized and again was told there was another delay because they forgot to send in the Pennsylvania tax form. Waited again. Finally, everything was finalized in June 2025 I requested them to FedEx my check to me as I lived in another state, as usual, they didn't do that. Waited over a week and finally got it. Almost 24 years went by before this case was finalized Do yourselves a favor and find an attorney's office with a qualified attorney and legal assistant. Made a bad situation even worse. They made sure to get their $10,000 though. Easiest estate case they could've possibly asked for they still messed it up.

Mr. Fisher is the man of his word. He will tell you the proper way to approach matters. Without any air of pretension, he is very likable and easy to talk to. He is very dedicated to his work and is a man of great integrity. His good reputation is built upon getting things done and using the proper... channels to do so quickly and effectively.
