Kandis is a litigation associate in the Philadelphia office of Weir & Partners. Her practice focuses on a broad range of complex commercial and business-related civil litigation and the defense of criminal prosecutions in Pennsylvania and New Jersey state and federal courts.
Kandis represents both corporate and individual clients in business torts, partnership and shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, unfair and deceptive business practices actions and civil RICO actions. Kandis also represents clients in criminal matters involving investigations and prosecutions of financial fraud, theft, criminal RICO violations and securities laws violations.

-Representation of a high-profile public figure charged by the Attorney General's Office with multiple theft-related felonies which were dismissed at the preliminary hearing stage
-Representation of a healthcare software company in litigation involving a grant from the Department of Defense which resulted in a favorable jury verdict for her client
-Representation of a grocery store chain in a class action lawsuit involving claims of unfair trade practices
-Representation of a company specializing in mobile technology solutions for healthcare and enterprise industries
-Representation of a company and high net-worth individual in a federal RICO action
-Representation of a number of banking and financial institutions in commercial loan workouts.
Kandis is active in the legal field and Philadelphia community. She is a member of the Young Lawyers Editorial Board of The Legal Intelligencer newspaper; an active participant in the Young Lawyers Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association; a founding member and current Vice President of the Young Professionals of the Philadelphia chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation; a member of the Young Friends Board of the Pennsylvania SPCA and a member of the National MS Society's "Preakness at the Piazza" event planning committee.
