Kandis Lynn Kovalsky

Kandis is a trial lawyer in Philadelphia. Her practice focuses on a broad range of high stakes complex commercial and business-related civil litigation in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York state and federal courts and arbitral tribunals. Kandis routinely handles expedited litigation matters, including temporary restraining orders and injunctions in federal court.

Kandis represents both individual and institutional clients in litigation over fiduciary duties, securities fraud, trade secrets, business torts, partnership and shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, noncompetes, unfair and deceptive business practices actions. -Representation of a medical device company in multiple Defend Trade Secrets Act TRO and injunction actions in federal court

-Representation of private equity funds in a variety of forums

-Representation of a public figure charged by the Attorney General's Office with multiple theft-related felonies which were dismissed at the preliminary hearing stage

-Representation of a healthcare software company in litigation involving a grant from the Dept. of Defense which resulted in a favorable jury verdict for her client

-Representation of a grocery store chain in a class action lawsuit involving claims of unfair trade practices

-Representation of a company and high net-worth individual in a federal RICO action

Kandis is active in the legal field and Philadelphia community. She is a member of the Young Lawyers Editorial Board of The Legal Intelligencer newspaper; President and Director of the University of Delaware HenLaw Alumni Society; Co-Chair of the ABA YLD Section of Litigation; and an active participant in the Philadelphia Bar Association.
