My Green Card has been finally approved! It might sound like nothing special, but if you wonder why I start with this statement, let me tell you: I'm Italian, got deported on Oct 7, 2012. I did just move from Los Angeles to Orlando 40 days earlier to start my family with my (at the time) girlfriend a...nd her 13yo daughter. I wasn't allowed in the US for 5 years for a "technicality" with my visa, so we were desperate, lost, not knowing what to do with our lives! Several immigration lawyers had declined to take our case, others asked an outrageous fee, no one believed that it would be possible for me to come back in the US anytime before five years. Caught in a major bind regarding my ability to maintain legal immigrant status I reached out to Jonathan A Grode.
