About Erica
Biography
Erica is a senior associate at The Erb Law Firm where she specializes in contracts and business law. She is a regular contributor to the firm's blog erblawg where she writes about issues that are important to businesses, such as brand name protection and employment law. She has also written extensively on privacy. Following the 9/11 attacks, she produced two comprehensive government-commissioned reports on the interplay between privacy law and the use of biometric recognition technology. Erica spoke about her research and conclusions to industry executives and government officials at the 2005 Biometric Consortium Conference. When not practicing or writing about the law, Erica can usually be found at either the playground with her son or at Bridge Club of Center City, which her husband owns and where she regularly plays bridge. Erica also enjoys horseback riding but, living in Center City Philadelphia, does not get to ride much. She is looking forward to teaching her son how to play bridge and ride horses.
