Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"Howard Scher is one of the best commercial litigators in the United States. He has been peer reviewed in many respected legal publications for his significant accomplishments. His trial record is vast and he has been called by large corporations to handle important trials in multiple jurisdictions. The matters Howard handles involve complex legal cases that concern large corporations throughout the country. Howard and I were involved in a business dispute over oil transportation and the public bidding process. He was extremely effective for his client and I am certain the case would have turned out differently had there been a differhent lawyer - other than Howard. After opposing Howard I have referred him several large corporate clients im who have all been more than satisfied with his representation, strategy and advice. Howard is a real "superlawyer" and has been so, long before they ever coined the term. The Legal community at large is enriched by his presence."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
