Mr. Pacillio’s formidable defense practice is backed by deep prosecutorial experience. He served as an Assistant District Attorney in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, where he was a founding member and lead prosecutor for the County’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, under a U.S. Department of Justice grant. Recognized as a national subject matter expert in online solicitation, computer crimes, child sexual assault materials (CSAM)/child pornography, and cyber-evidence, he also headed the county’s Insurance Fraud and Auto Theft Prevention Units. Following his time as a prosecutor in the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Robert C. Wright in the Criminal Division of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas.
Mr. Pacillio is an active member of several Bar Associations. He has written extensively in the area of Computer Crimes and Sex Crimes and delivers seminars to members of the bench and fellow members of the bar, nationwide. Steve has also served as a consultant and expert witness in litigation matters involving advanced technology.
